Family Photos and a few Groundhogs in Kopche Bay

There’s a park you won’t see on google maps. It’s past sparking hills and predator ridge golf course. You keep going, and on your right you’ll see a park called Kopche bay.

It’s a great way to spend an afternoon. I’m reading a book called Atheist Remix. So I lay on the beach, iPad Mini in hand, and fed the groundhogs and read my book. What a decent day.

No to say there hasn’t been any excitement this week. I had an awesome family shoot (getting to be more common, hooray!)

It was actually a much larger family than that. I ended up arranging about thirty picture. It’s hard to get everyone to look at the camera. Maybe I’ll end up putting a reflector or something eye catching on my camera. Really reel them in with fancy flashy attention getting techniques.

Finally figured out how I can become happy with my frequency separation technique. Really got into it. There’s a lot of work to be done, but at least I know what to do, what direction I wish to go in.

A lastly, I did a last minute engagement shoot with a very amazing couple. Their photographer had cancelled on them! I can’t even imagine. Well, I was more than happy to spend a few hours with these two. They were funny and totaly troopers. We hiked across fields of cactuses (Is it cactus or cacti?), and I even lay on some to try and get the shot.

Few other things – exploring an abandoned house and today maternity shoot. It’s going to be a busy day, but it’s also going to be a fun day.
